Buddy The Elf (Will Ferrell) heads to New York City to find his real father. Before leaving the North Pole his adopted father, Papa Elf (Bob Newhart) hands him a Snow Globe with a model of the Empire State Building inside it. He tells Buddy his father works at the Empire State Building.
