Anyway, in a plot half borrowed from An Affair To Remember, Sam (Tom Hanks) and Annie (Meg Ryan) agree to meet each other for the first time on top of the Empire State Building. Far shots and the Lobby of the real Empire State Building were used, however for closeups a replica was built in a warehouse.
